Army Chaplain Corps Gap Analysis and Curriculum Development

Oral History Preservation and Training

Avani leads the collection and preservation of personal stories from Airmen, officers, and veterans of recent conflicts, contributing to the Air University Library’s digital catalog. We train cadets in oral history techniques, ensuring these invaluable military histories are meticulously documented and accessible to future generations.

Air University Distance Learning Management

Avani supports Air University’s Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) by selecting and training online faculty for the Global College of Professional Military Education (GCPME). Our work helped Air Force officers, DoD civilians, and enlisted personnel prepare for higher responsibility roles through improved online higher education programs.

FEMA Logistics and Emergency Management Course Development

As part of a five-year ID/IQ contract, Avani developed, updated, and revised course materials for FEMA’s National Emergency Training Center. These courses, covering emergency management, leadership, and response strategies, equip participants from various fields—such as fire safety and disaster recovery—with the tools to enhance operational readiness.

FDA Training and Instructor Support

Food and Drug Administration, Office of Regulatory Affairs

Avani coordinated subject matter experts to train FDA Office of Regulatory Affairs personnel on laws, regulations, and scientific concepts related to FDA-regulated commodities. This training helped the ORA improve compliance and public health outcomes by ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Army Distributed Learning Education and Training Program

Avani delivered innovative educational solutions to the U.S. Army by developing training strategies for unit, individual, and self-development programs. Our services included courseware conversion to IMI, IV&V of training materials, and the deployment of Virtual Mobile Training Teams (VMTT), which enhanced soldiers’ adaptability in dynamic battlefield conditions.

FEMA Logistics Courses Update (National Fire Academy)

Avani worked with FEMA’s National Fire Academy to update three existing online courses on logistics, including Custodial Officer Training, Receiving Officer Training, and Basic Property Management. These courses ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines and promote operational efficiency within logistics management.

DoE Increasing Longitudinal Data Utilization

Avani spearheaded the creation of Data in Gear (DIG), an online hub designed to help GEAR UP grantees utilize longitudinal data for performance reporting and continuous improvement. Our platform facilitated communication and provided comprehensive resources, guiding grantees through the entire project lifecycle to enhance their data analysis and reporting capabilities.

DoE Improving Graduation Rates and College Readiness

Department of Education

Avani provided research, technical assistance, and program evaluation services for the High School Graduation Initiative (HSGI). We supported grantees by monitoring and providing technical support to 29 high schools, while managing a 20-site pilot program aimed at increasing FAFSA applications and improving college readiness in high-poverty areas.
