The Indian concept of “Jugaad” doesn’t translate perfectly into English, but you can think of it as “the art (or magic) of figuring it out with what you’ve got.”

Jugaad means grabbing duct tape to hold together something that has no business staying upright.

It’s the mindset of anyone who’s ever been under-resourced, out of time, overwhelmed, and STILL found a way to cobble together a way forward.

The lesson of jugaad is simple: resourcefulness beats perfection.

It’s not about flashy solutions or meticulously crafted plans. It’s about solving problems with what’s in front of you right now when all you have is your wits and the will to make it work.
