Avani conducted a comprehensive gap analysis for the Army Chaplain Corps, identifying areas for curriculum enhancement. FEMA Public Assistance Leadership Academy & Coach and Evaluator Training Design & Development

Avani designed and developed FEMA’s Public Assistance Leadership Academy (PALA) and Coach and Evaluator (C&E) Training. For PALA, we created an immersive leadership program culminating in a simulated Joint Field Office capstone to strengthen collaboration, judgment, and strategic decision-making. For C&E, we developed experiential learning activities and resource guides that prepared evaluators to assess the performance of FEMA’s incident workforce. Through curriculum design, facilitator training resources, and both in-person and virtual learning tools, Avani enhanced FEMA’s ability to equip leaders and evaluators with the skills and frameworks needed to guide disaster recovery effectively.
